SALVATION ARMY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Purpose: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from
disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive,
responsible and caring citizens.

The Club is open to children grades K - 12th  and our programs are designed specifically for each age group. We offer hope and opportunity while providing a safe place to learn and grow through life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.  Young people are engaged in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. Core program areas are:   

  • Character and Leadership
  • Education and Career
  • Health and Life Skills
  • The Arts
  • Sports, Fitness and Recreation

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Open Monday - Friday from 2:30pm to 6:00pm.

  • Homework help and Tutoring
  • Computer Center
  • Games and Recreation
  • Arts and Crafts
  • 6 + 3 it all adds up - Math program

Also, offered on days when there is no school in Fayette County (except federal holidays).

SUMMER DAY CAMP
Open Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm (10 week program). Activities include:

  • swimming 
  • the arts 
  • field trips 
  • sports and recreational activities
  • character development

 

TEEN CLUB
Open Monday - Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
It is more than shooting hoops! The Teen Club offers an opportunity to participate in:B&G Club Computer Room
